Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cardreap, a website and application operated by Soboan LLC ("Cardreap," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Cardreap is

Cardreap is a software tool that connects to your financial accounts (through Plaid) to audit, reconcile, and track your credit card benefits, statement credits, and welcome offers. Cardreap is not a bank, credit card issuer, money transmitter, broker, or a provider of financial, tax, investment, or legal advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Cardreap. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.

3. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. We require multi-factor authentication to help protect financial data. Notify us promptly at hello@cardreap.com of any unauthorized use.

4. Financial data and Plaid

By linking an account, you authorize us and Plaid to access and transmit information from your financial institution as described in our Privacy Policy and Plaid's privacy policy. You can disconnect a linked institution at any time from your dashboard.

5. Informational purpose; no guarantees

Cardreap's analysis, alerts, projections, and recommendations are provided for general informational purposes and are based on data made available to us, which may be incomplete or delayed. We do not guarantee that you will receive any particular credit, bonus, or approval, or that our calculations are error-free. Card offers, minimum spend requirements, fees, and terms are set by the issuing institution and may change at any time — always confirm details on the issuer's official website before applying or relying on a benefit. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.

6. Affiliate relationships

Cardreap earns affiliate commissions when you are approved for certain products through our links. This is described in full in our Advertiser & Affiliate Disclosure, which is incorporated into these Terms. Our analytical results are not influenced by these relationships.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering the platform, interfering with its operation, scraping, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The Cardreap name, logo, software, and content are owned by Soboan LLC and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal use.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soboan LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of benefits, rewards, profits, or data, arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

You may stop using Cardreap and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
