We think you should keep the benefits you already earned.
Premium credit cards are sold on their benefits: monthly dining credits, travel credits, statement credits, and five-figure welcome bonuses. But those benefits are designed to be easy to forget. A credit you didn't use resets silently. A statement credit that never posts is invisible unless you reconcile your statement line by line. A welcome bonus worth $1,500 quietly expires if you miss the spending deadline by a day.
The industry has a word for this: breakage — the gap between benefits promised and benefits actually redeemed. It's worth billions, and it's working against you. We built Cardreap to flip it.
What Cardreap does differently
Most rewards apps stop at categorizing your transactions. Cardreap treats every benefit as an open accounting entry that must be reconciled — a double-entry-style ledger that matches each benefit-triggering charge to the credit that's supposed to follow it. If the matching credit doesn't post within the expected window, we surface it as a recoverable loss, with the exact details you need to claim it.
For welcome offers, we go a step further and project forward: we track your qualifying spend against the minimum, and tell you exactly what pace secures the bonus — using spending you've already planned, never wasteful spend.
How we stay honest
Cardreap is free. We make money through affiliate commissions when you choose to apply for a card through us and get approved. We're upfront that this is the model — and we've designed the product so it only works if we're genuinely useful. Every recommendation is backed by your own transaction data, and we never sell that data. You can read exactly how this works in our Advertiser & Affiliate Disclosure.
Who's behind Cardreap
Cardreap is a product of Soboan LLC, a company based in Redmond, Washington. We're a small, independent team of builders who got tired of doing this reconciliation by hand in spreadsheets — so we automated it. We take data security seriously: financial connections are handled through Plaid, sensitive credentials are encrypted, and we enforce multi-factor authentication.
